terms of service
Last updated: August 13, 2026
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Lock In Iron Log (“Lock In,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website and workout logging application.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Lock-In, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
2. THE LOCK-IN IRON LOG SERVICE
Lock In is a workout logging and fitness tracking service designed to help users record workouts, review workout history, repeat previous workouts, track personal records, view analytics, and use other training-related features.
Features may vary by subscription level and may be added, modified, or removed over time.
3. ACCOUNTS
Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login credentials.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us promptly.
4. SUBSCRIPTIONS, FREE TRIALS & BILLING
Lock In may offer paid subscription plans and free trial periods. Current pricing, subscription options, and applicable trial terms will be displayed before purchase.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, paid subscriptions automatically renew at the applicable monthly or annual rate until canceled.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees and applicable taxes.
Pricing may change in the future. Any price change affecting an existing subscription will be communicated as required by applicable law before it takes effect.
5. FREE TRIALS
Eligible users may receive a free trial of paid Lock In features. The length and terms of the trial will be displayed when you sign up.
If a payment method is required to begin a trial, your subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial expires. The applicable terms will be disclosed during signup.
6. CANCELLATION
You may cancel a paid subscription through the available account or billing controls.
Unless otherwise stated, cancellation stops future renewal charges. You may retain access to paid features through the remainder of the period for which you have already paid.
Deleting the application or simply ceasing to use Lock-In does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
7. REFUNDS
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription payments are non-refundable.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us at support@lockinironlog.com so we can review the issue.
8. FITNESS AND HEALTH DISCLAIMER
Lock-In is a workout logging and informational tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, or individualized professional fitness advice.
Exercise and strength training involve inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury. You are responsible for determining whether an exercise, workout, weight, or training activity is appropriate for you.
Consult an appropriate healthcare or fitness professional before beginning or modifying an exercise program when appropriate for your circumstances.
Never disregard professional medical advice because of information displayed, stored, or tracked through Lock In.
9. WORKOUT DATA AND USER CONTENT
You may enter workout information, notes, exercise names, personal records, and other content into Lock In (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us the limited rights necessary to store, process, transmit, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of information you enter into Lock In.
10. DATA LOSS
We take reasonable measures to operate Lock In reliably, but no digital service can guarantee that data will never be lost, corrupted, delayed, or unavailable.
You should not rely on Lock In as the sole repository for information that is critical to your health, safety, finances, or other essential purposes.
11. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may not use Lock In to violate applicable law, interfere with the operation or security of the service, attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems, distribute malicious software, abuse or overload the service, or reverse engineer the service except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
12. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
We aim to keep Lock In available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party services, or circumstances outside our control.
We may modify, update, discontinue, or replace features as Lock In develops.
13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Lock In may rely on third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, payment processing, and other infrastructure.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of those providers.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Lock-In and its software, branding, design, graphics, logos, and other original content are owned by Lock In Iron Log LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of Lock-In or its intellectual property.
15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lock In is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not warrant that the service will always be available, error-free, secure, or meet every user’s individual requirements.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lock In Iron Log LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
This includes, to the extent permitted by law, losses arising from exercise or training activities, loss of workout data, interruption of service, or unauthorized access to your account.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
17. TERMINATION
You may stop using Lock In at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to the service when reasonably necessary because of a violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, security threats, abuse of the service, or other conduct that could harm Lock-In or its users.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms as Lock In evolves. When material changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law.
Continued use of Lock In after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
